A couple of feature phones, the Sony Ericsson Walkman Mix and interfere with named Sony Ericsson txt pro are two very similar touchscreen phones offer the goal very interested in, value for money.
In contrast to other recent Sony Ericsson are phones, the mixture Walkman and txt per not Android powered devices, despite of having touch screens. With pre-payment Android smartphones in the United Kingdom now under the 100 € (110€) barrier mount, is it hard to see what kind of a future have this "stupid" feature phones.
Both handsets have a very similar hardware specification, the main difference is that the txt pro has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Common symptoms of mix Walkman and txt pro are a 3 "240 x 400 pixel capacitive touch screen, one 3.2 mega pixel camera, Bluetooth and a MicroSD slot, a media player, FM radio and a 3.5 mm audio jack."
With devices this is the standard, supported support mobile phone 3 g but it Wi-Fi, which means that they can be used free of charge in a home wireless network. Ditching 3 g in phones like this makes them cheaper, lighter and gives them a longer battery life, making it a bad compromise.
Although not smartphones, it seems built a decent amount of software, including Web browser, e-Mail client, and support for Twitter, Facebook and Google talk. Since both phones support Java, then it should be possible, just add Java based applications, it should be.
The txt pro comes with a nice-looking QWERTY keyboard, which makes it slightly heavier than the Walkman version, but with 100 grams, it is still very friendly bag. It lacks some of the advanced media features of Walkman mix, but the txt pro is still a capable media device.
We do not know, how much are these phones, but as you can buy a rival Samsung Corby II
device SIM-free for $100, then we don't think, that they very much more expensive than that. But with Android prices costs just $130, come down all the time, and in particular with the Sony Ericsson Xperia X 8 or so, then we think that these phones have a hard time selling itself may be.
Sony Ericsson say that both these phones 2011 should be available during Q3.
